DEAR   FRIENDS !

The Russian-Norwegian Cleaner Production Centre

greets You and invites You to get acquainted with the principles and results
of its activities commenced in 1994

During this short period we and our Russian enterprises have reached a level of preparedness enough for establishing a adjusted system which would, on the one part, change the manner of thinking and practical doing of leading engineers and technical specialists of any industrial entity, and, on the other part, would render a real assistance in securing financial means for putting into practice economically profitable projects. The best way to achieve these purposes is to train the engineering staff in the cleaner production methods, that is to use to the utmost their skill, experience and initiative.

Definition of Cleaner Production

Cleaner Production means the continuous application of an integrated preventive environmental strategy to processes and products to reduce risks to humans and the environment.
  • For production processes, Cleaner Production includes conserving raw materials and energy, elimininating toxic raw materials, and reducing the quantity and toxicity of all emissions and wastes before they leave the process.
  • For products the strategy focuses on relating impacts along the entire life cycle of the product, from raw materials, and wastes before they leave the process.
  • Cleaner Production is achieved by applying know-how, by improving technology, and/or by changing attitudes.

You can get much more detailed information on it from the material of our web-site.

Realization of the cleaner production strategy by the industry gives an effect in three domains (ecology, economy and the social life). It makes possible to substantially cut pollution of the environment due to mobilization of available reserves, and to bring about with least losses and expenses the next phase - transition of enterprises to use of modern environmental management systems with subsequent certification according to the ISO 14000 family of international standards. The preparative activities of the Centre destined for introduction of the environmental management system at an enterprise are met with the support on the part of cleaner production engineers trained at the enterprise by our EMS qualified experts.

We have the highly skilled personnel, all necessary methodical aids and a good practical expertise.

The Russian-Norwegian Cleaner Production Centre is ready
to render help and assistance in a very practical way, as it has been doing for the last years

Fare you well !
